On July 8th and 9th 2017, we participated in Anicon held in St. Petersburg, Russia as guests!

We had stage performance and photo session on the first day, and on the second day we had a stage panel, an autograph session and a Q&A talk session.

There were a lot of participants from all over Russia, as well as participants from Latvia and Belarus!
Anikon is one of the most important animation events in Russia, the staff were wonderfully refined and talented, and the participants appeared to be very satisfied.

We felt that young people in Saint Petersburg are positive and kind and have a temperament to match with Japanese people. We felt that we should have more interests and exchanges with Russia, and we were honored that some people said “you two are my first Japanese friends!”

On the final day, we visited the Japan Center established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and researched about the BtoB market. We felt great potential for the commercial exchange between Russia and Japan.

2017年7月8日と9日、ロシア・サンクトペテルブルクにて開催されたAniconにゲスト参加させていただきました！1日目にステージパフォーマンスと撮影会、2日目には日本のマーケットについてのステージパネル、サイン会、質問会をしました。

ロシア全土からのたくさんの参加者、またラトビアやベラルーシからの参加者もあり、アニコンはロシアで最も影響力のあるアニメイベントのようでした。スタッフさんたちは洗練されていて能力が高く、お客さんも満足しているとてもよいイベントでした。

サンクトペテルスブルクの若者はポジティブで優しく、日本人と気が合うように思います。私たちはもっとロシアに興味と交流を持つべきだと感じるとともに、今回私たちを「初めての日本人の友達だ」と言ってくれる人たちがいてとても光栄に思いました。

最終日には外務省設置の日本センターを訪問し、B to Bのマーケットについてヒアリングさせていただきました。ロシアと日本の商業的交流に大きな可能性を感じたロシア滞在でした。
